Hello! My name is Emily, and I run Emily’s Edits. I am a freelance editor looking to take on more clients. I am still considered relatively new to this line of work, so I am looking to take on a few projects at a much lower rate than usual to gain more experience and build rapport with new writers.

This is the last step before publication. The most important aspect of proofreading is maintaining consistency throughout the manuscript and catching any last errors that might have been missed in the editing process. After proofreading and making any last adjustments, the manuscript should be polished and ready for publication!
